I adored the cozy, traditional lounge with its rich wooden paneling and large, comfortable furniture. The warm, luxurious bedding and thick towels in the room were delightful, truly making my stay feel special and relaxing.
A light at the driveway would help in the dark.

The room was lovely and warm, which was perfect. There was hot water galore, and the towels were super thick—definitely made you feel pampered. The bedding felt luxurious, too. I also loved the cozy vibe of the traditional lounge areas downstairs. They had nice cotton dressing gowns, and the breakfast room was bright and inviting. But honestly, nothing felt negative about the room at all. it was a really nice stay!

Warm and Comfortable Stay
We had a lovely three-night stay in a Double or Twin Room. The bedding was luxurious, and the thick, thirsty towels were a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful, with a great selection, and the staff were incredibly helpful, offering tea in the lounge daily. I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the evening meal suggestions.

Charming Stay with a Few Touches Needed!
We enjoyed a delightful three-night escape. The warm atmosphere set the tone, though better lighting at the driveway would aid arrivals at night. Modern decor upgrades and a little maintenance are needed for the shower and loo. A lovely stay overall, perfect for couples seeking tranquility!

missingWrote a review on Jun 16spacious roomlocal artdated decor
The Double or Twin Room offered comfort with ample space, providing a cozy atmosphere for relaxing after a busy day. A pleasant touch included local art on the walls, adding a unique character reflective of the surroundings.
The hotel could definitely benefit from a light at the end of the driveway, especially in the dark-it made finding the place a bit of a challenge. The room decor and contents seemed dated and in need of modernisation, which might detract from the overall experience. The shower had a persistent whine that was rather distracting, and the loo seat needed re-fixing, adding to the sense that some maintenance could improve the stay significantly.
